Auto Weld builds all types of rear housings from full Competition cars to Pro Street to customer's specifications to special "shoot-out" cars. They are completely jig welded. Special fixtures allow us to put all brackets into alignment with the center section. They are offered as simple as a narrowed bar housing to a fully welded Competition rear housing, complete with brackets, brace, triangular support, fill and drain plugs, and made for the toughest applications and in any width, bolt circle, and brake register, (9" type only). AUTO WELD can build any housing in any stage of completion that you could possibly need.

At AUTO WELD we use these New massive
and thicker aftermarket 9" Ford housing
cores. And also use the thicker and stronger 1/4" wall "DOM" tubing for the axle tubes.

Above is an example of the differences
between the smaller 3" diameter
axle tubes and the stronger
and larger 3 1/4" diameter axle
tubes. Both used are the beefy 1/4"
wall "DOM" steel tubing.
Some applications may require
using the smaller 3"
axle tubes, but for most of our
rears we use the stronger
3 1/4" axle tubes.
