What are the terms of sale?
Cash or company check until a credit line is established. A credit application must be submitted and approved by the Credit Manager before credit is extended. Should credit be extended by Arbor Valley Nursery, all decisions with respect to or continuation of credit shall be at the sole discretion of Arbor Valley Nursery. Arbor Valley Nursery may terminate credit extended within its discretion. Invoices will accompany the plant material. Usual credit terms are Net 30 Days from date of invoice. Statements are mailed the 1st of each month. A finance charge of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) will be charged on PAST DUE ACCOUNTS.

Can I tag and hold plant material until I need it?
Yes, you can tag nursery stock personally or we can tag it for you to specification. Our policy is to hold stock for 10 days. If it needs to be held longer, a 25% deposit is needed up to 30 days and beyond that we require full prepayment. We ask that you make an appointment to tag preferably in the afternoon.

What is your pricing structure?
All prices are set annually in our catalog. We do try to adhere to those prices but do to circumstances beyond our control, such as unforseen increase in demand or weather, all prices are subject to change without notice.

Can I return an item that is damaged, defective, or I just don't want?
All claims of any nature must be made within 24 hours of receipt of plant material to be considered. All plant material is guaranteed to be true to name and variety. No other guarantee is expressed or implied as to life, description, productiveness, or any other matter, on any stock Arbor Valley Nursery may sell. A 10% restocking fee will be charged on all stock returned to Arbor Valley Nursery. Nursery stock will be accepted after inspection by Arbor Valley Nursery. Back to Top

What happens if the item I ordered is not available?
There are some times when we may not have a certain item you need. Please let us know all your plant needs as long before required as possible. We will do our best to locate what you need at the best price possible. Back to Top

Why was I charged sales tax on my purchase?
Under Colorado State Law, we are required to collect sales tax for sales to companies without a Sales Tax License. We collect this tax at the rate of 4.5% or the most current rate. Tax exempt projects will require a photocopy of the "Contractor Exemption Certificate" when payment is made. Sales tax is also collected on our delivery charge because it is considered a necessary part of the transaction and subject by State Law. Back to Top

Shipping FAQs

How long will it take to receive my order?
Deliveries can be arranged to your job site. The Buyer is responsible for providing laborers and tractor(s) necessary for unloading. Other arrangements can be made and may include additional charges. Pricing varies according to the size of load and job site location. We do require a minimum order of $1000 for deliveries in the Denver metro area and $1500 for Colorado Springs and Fort Collins. We can arrange for common carrier for distances farther. Back to Top

Can I pick up my order at your location?
Yes. We ask that you please call ahead with your order and an ETA for your arrival so we can begin pulling ahead the order if possible.Back to Top

What does "Wholesale Only" mean?
We are strictly a wholesale supplier. What that means is that we will only sell to landscape contractors, municipalities and nurseries with at Nursery License. If you are a homeowner, we would be happy to refer you to a retail nursery in your area or to a landscape contractor to do installation for you. Back to Top

How are shipping charges calculated?
