Weighing-in at 983 pounds, Rusty Blaides is a country honky tonk band with a swingin' juke-joint heart. This isn't your parent's country music...it's your grandparent's country music.
The members of Rusty Blaides come from a wide variety of musical backgrounds (jazz, punk, rock, roots, worldbeat, carribean, ect.) and share a passion for the classic country sounds of Bob Wills, Hank Williams Sr., Hank Thompson and the like, created in the 1930's, 40's, and 50's.
Along with breathing new life into traditional country standards, Rusty Blaides has an expanding list of original songs written in the same vein.
Keep and eye and an ear out for our up and coming debut CD of originals,'So Long Gone', due to be out this November.
