  • The GTO 8.8 conversion will available very soon, this kit will allow you to install any independent 8.8 rear diff under a GTO. As you all know the factory GM rear in the GTO is decent but when you start pushing real HP in them they don't stand up. Drive Shaft shop along with Thomas Hendrix and Scott Grant (Hendrick Motorsports) have designed a bolt in kit to install a 8.8 rear diff from either a 90-97 T-bird/Cougar (steel case) or a Mustang Cobra Aluminum case (5lb difference between the cases) these rears have been abused by the Mustang crowd for years seeing over 900hp and 1.3 60ft times with out failure, the choice of gears and center sections make this a great addition to the car. The kits will include all necessary hardware to install the rear including axles, shaft and all brackets (you supply the diff) list price of $3469.99 (will also fit Holden Manaro 2001-2005)
