Hendrik de Regt (b. 1950, Rotterdam, The Netherlands) studied theory and composition with Piet Ketting, himself a pupil of Willem Pijper. His compositions are published widely, and this is his first publication by PRB Productions. The Partita consists of three movements, all with harpsichord: Preludium, for Alto recorder; Menuet & Trio, for Soprano (or Tenor); Fantasy, for Tenor (or Soprano). Intermediate to advanced in difficulty for both instruments.
