Blavet, who premiered Telemann's "Paris" Quartets in 1738 was "the finest flutist in France. Each sonata has 4 or 5 movements. The figured bass part has been realized by Anastasia Abu Bakar, who studied harpsichord performance at three prestigious European Conservatories, and has performed widely in Europe.
